High-End Tea Room Art Installation / Sprouting at Dawn, Bamboo Art Installation

In the crevices of time, lurks the vibrant vitality of budding life, yet also plays out the irreversible momentum of decay. Withered leaves and decaying branches return to the soil, storing nutrients for the sprouting tips of new buds. The mottled textures of corners engrave the traces of time, quietly transforming into footnotes for people's past memories. Blossoms fall, leaves wither; the seasons cycle. Life is a wonderful process. Sprouting at dawn, within the flow of time... β€»β€»πŸŒˆπŸŒˆπŸŒˆ Focusing on the imagery of small plants sprouting from obscurity, natural and eco-friendly materials were chosen to express a winding, coiling form in the corners of the space. While recreating the natural state of botanical rebirth, it also uses an artistic and romantic touch to extend and permeate the architectural structure. The interplay of wide and narrow forms explores the relationship between proportion and scale, narrating the unpredictability of growth; shifts in the purity of cyan-green create a gradient effect, forming a dynamic sense of growth that牡引s and spreads throughout the entire venue. ‖‖‖‖‖● ‖‖‖● This is an indoor art installation created for a newly opened high-end modern tea space within Chengdu’s Kuanzhai Alley. By contemplating the significance of "installation" within architecture, we returned to the original intent. The tea room spans three floors. Originally an old local residential building, after foundation and beam reinforcements, many wonderful alcove-like spaces appeared in the second-floor ceiling. Almost every wall had a window opening overhead (see the last image). Once our installation artistically connected these points, the previously empty 5-meter ceiling was instantly filled with a resilient sense of life, like new buds bursting forth. The construction process was incredibly arduous. For five consecutive days, I craned my neck while shuttling between six installation points, shouting over the noise of stone-cutting saws. My hair grew drier by the day amidst the flying dust, and my throat grew more painful by the day. Fortunately, the final effect was delightful, bringing a profound sense of accomplishment. #ArtInstallation #BambooArt #OriginalDesign #TeaRoomDesign #InteriorDesign #CommercialDecor
