Startling Grace This time, inspired by the intangible cultural heritage of Shuixiu (flowing water sleeves), we deconstructed their dynamic trajectories to reshape the motion. As light spots glide over the natural rippling textures of the wood, it resembles a Cantonese opera warrior's feather crest piercing the void, or the silver waterfall of a Huadan's sleeve bursting forth at the clash of gongs and drums. The overlapping depths of the grain weave a rhythmic vitality beyond the material itself, blurring the lines between reality and illusion. Hovering in mid-air like detached veneers, they capture the trajectory of sleeves slicing through the air. Under the light, African Padauk exudes an amber glow, while Macassar ebony veneer shimmers with rippling luminescence, as if touching the lingering aftertaste of a dancer suspended in a temporal rift.
