Oil Painting Style Installation Art Two sets of suspended atrium installations. Figures 1 and 2 happen to show the front and back of one set. This was more complex than my usual paper art because the back side had to be treated with equal care. Materials that seem simple are not easy to work with. Although the on-site installation only took a day or two, the preparation required using both hands and feet for a full seven days. Therefore, this is more suitable for inclusion in a comprehensive design proposal. The color palette evokes an autumnal oil painting; however, if not handled carefully, it can easily appear dirty or excessively bleak. Guiding this risky color palette in the right direction required constant attention during mixing and adjustment—small touches of bright accent colors were absolutely essential. ※※※ The installation is titled *Gathering & Scattering, Fate's Creation* Fallen leaves flutter and meet unexpectedly. Witnessing the irreversible momentum of creation in the quiet passage of time. Scattering and gathering are both dictated by fate.
