Just completed two sets of 5-meter-long, large-scale ceiling installations in the cyan-green aesthetic. Themed around tea leaves, the forms are incredibly dynamic. Emerald Sprouting Capturing the delicate, random quality of leaves trembling in the breeze, the gradient dyeing conveys the wind-swept momentum of tender tea tips. Taking a microscopic view, it incorporates the curling of hand-rolled leaves, and the compact pressure of steaming—stringing these various postures together with "lines" to convey nature's lightness through winding, flowing movements. Shifting from green to cyan, the color transforms depending on the viewing angle, much like the fragmented, mottled light filtering through gaps in the foliage. The cycles of the four seasons converge to condense the vitality of creation; From old trees and new branches, a touch of emerald sprouts forth.
