Guqin Studio Entrance Installation | Bamboo Art Installation

Standing in front of the Guqin studio, scratching my head, I came up with the design in just one hour. Then, I quickly drafted the template and drawings, and started cutting bamboo for fabrication and installation the next day. This was the result of a day of climbing up and down by the four of us plus one guy. "Lingering Sound" was the theme of the work. Without referencing any images or case studies, we rapidly formulated the proposal, presented the scheme, and swiftly assembled a team to complete the division of labor. This was a pop-up piece from last October in Kunming, made possible by every pair of lovely hands involved. Initially, I considered adding flowers, but once the bamboo was installed, I realized flowers would be superfluous.
