300 Meters of Fabric Manipulation Art Installation | Anniversary Celebrations Can Be Artistic Too

Tired of balloon clusters or flower-wrapped numbers? Ever thought of using reconstructed fabric to piece together digits? … Recently completed several 5th‑anniversary art installations: the numeral “5,” earthy brown tones, synthetic fabrics, and organza. Using nearly 300 meters of fabric—one piece standing 3 meters, another 2.3 meters, and a smaller one at 1.2 meters—I built up the textures entirely through fabric manipulation. Over ten different textures were created, each tiny section hand‑shaped into a three‑dimensional surface. In person, it’s irresistibly charming. The numeral “5” was outlined with just a few fluid strokes; its airy, weightless structure suited the occasion perfectly.
