Thanks to Wu Zhi Interior Design's overall style and high aesthetic, this New Chinese focal-point installation stood out brilliantly the moment it was done. Even before the soft furnishings arrived, the curves at the end were already breathtaking. When Dongjie saw my design sketch, she said the flowing bamboo strips looked like a freeze-frame of condensed milk being poured in. So during execution, I kept that phrase in my head: I want these rigid bamboo rows to express flowing liquid. Those seemingly simple curves actually took two full days to execute on site.
