So Healing | Capturing the Moment Milk Is Poured In | Art Installation
Thick bamboo strips, retaining the details of the nodes. The bamboo had a hardness close to that of the Sogetsu school's standards. To press the layers into the desired reverse arcs, I had to put my whole body weight on them—only to be nearly bounced right off. Thanks to Wu Zhi Interior Design's overall style and high aesthetic, this New Chinese focal-point installation stood out brilliantly the moment it was done. Even before the soft furnishings arrived, the curves at the end were already breathtaking. When Dongjie saw my design sketch, she said the flowing bamboo strips looked like a freeze-frame of condensed milk being poured in. So during execution, I kept that phrase in my head: I want these rigid bamboo rows to express flowing liquid. Those seemingly simple curves actually took two full days to execute on site. Original work. Don't copy, or I'll be furious. Art Installation #Focal Point Design #Soft Installation #Bamboo Art Installation #Just Pure Art #Exhibition Hall Installation
