Artistic Aesthetics, Tracing Mountain Shadows with Bamboo Lines | Spatial Installation
Dusk Mountain Shadows Twilight washes the mountains in fading gradients of ink, while ripples reflect layered peaks into continuous silhouettes. Heaven and earth serve as the paper, stone as the ink, and nature as the brush. Up close, stacked crags resemble thick, wet ink; in the distance, rolling peaks blur into pale blue mist. A fishing boat returns at dusk, hovering as a moment of rest found within the ink painting. A Zen art installation created for Zixi Rusi Villa, a member of the SLH (Small Luxury Hotels of the World) collection. Simple lines outline the silhouettes of the mountains mirrored in the ripples of Xiaodong River. Even with common materials, I strive to explore new applications in every creation, integrating local culture and maximizing the time dedicated to refining each piece. From design to execution, artistic aesthetics fill every detail of the work.
