Paper Art Installation | First Attempt with Paper & The Infinite Possibilities of Art Installations

My first attempt at paper art. Having never worked with paper in my career, I recently drew inspiration from Mengye, Zhiyi, and many paper artists' works, so I grabbed some paper to create something fun. Washi paper is truly magical—it can be used in commercial decor and wedding arrangements, played with in endless variations, and once coated with waterproof oil, it can even be used for outdoor installations. However, playing with paper requires patience. This 170-centimeter piece completely drained all my patience for today. 🥺 For dyeing, I started with watercolors, but after installing it, the colors were too faint, so I added some acrylics... The dyeing process was a battle of wits against my own germaphobia. Using a hairdryer to dry the paper definitely isn't standard procedure; I simply couldn't stand the water and mess everywhere in the office. #ArtInstallation #PaperArt #PaperDyeing #PaperArtDecor
